Roto-Rx

The Doctor is now in...

Question #1: Who do you view as some of the top young players in MLB right now? – Decon, Austin, TX

Decon: Dr. Roto will give you some obvious ones, and some less than obvious ones to watch. Let's go around the diamond...C: Matt Wieters, 1B:Kendry Morales, 2B: Ben Zobrist, SS:Elvis Andrus, 3B: Evan Longoria, OF: Matt Kemp, Ryan Braun, and Justin Upton, DH: Billy Butler SP: Tim Lincecum and Clayton Kershaw, RP: Jonathan Broxton and David Aardsma

Question #2: You previously tweeted to get rid of Russell Branyan while his value was up. He’s hung in there. Do you still feel that way? – Patrick, Seattle, WA

Patrick: Dr. Roto holds by his opinion. Buy low, sell high. Branyan is a great sell high candidate. He needs to pick it up again to help teams win a fantasy championship.

Question #3: What is your opinion of Kendry Morales and would you start him over Matt Kemp? – Evan, El Paso, TX

Evan: Dr. Roto is a BIG fan of Kendry Morales. Dr. Roto was preaching about him in spring training and those who listened have reaped the benefits of that advice. Dr. Roto also loves Matt Kemp. As for who to start, hard to answer that without knowing your team and your standings in the categories. If you need average and speed start Kemp. If you need power, start Morales.

Question #4: Curtis Granderson or Andre Either. Who will get me more points in a 5 x 5 league the rest of the way? – Moose, Miami, FL

Moose: Wow...tough call on that one. Kinda like should I bring my umbrella if the skies look gray? If I do, no way it rains. If I don't, here comes a storm. Dr. Roto says Ethier in a close one mainly because Granderson struggles against lefties just a bit.

Question #5: Is Aaron Hill going to be a flash in the pan or will he be a perennial All-Star? – Greg, Rochester, NY

Greg: Dr. Roto won't guarantee Hill's all-star status, but he can tell you that Hill is no flash in the pan. You can expect great stats next year too.
