World Series Odds - Some interesting trends.....

Here are the consensus odds in Las Vegas to win this year’s World Series.

The newest adjustments as of August 1st take into account teams current records, time left in the season, remaining schedule and the recent additions / subtractions of players because of recent trades.

Personally, (and I'm not telling you to mortgage the house and go place a bet) I think you get great odds on the Phillies @ 6-1. I’m surprised that they are not 3-1 along with the Yankees (but that’s just me.)

P.S. – Some of the more trendy picks by gaming professionals I know are going on teams with spectacular odds. If you want to have some fun and get a real bang for your buck, some real smart guys are plunking money down on the Angels, Rays, Rockies and Giants.
