Dr. Roto weighs in.....

Despite the All-Star game still being a week away, most teams have already played ½ their games. You’ve read about who got snubbed and who didn’t deserve to make it.

Just back from the Michael Jackson ceremonies in LA this afternoon (Doc and Mike were close), Dr. Roto, has been kind enough to take some time out of his busy schedule to provide us with who hishis first half rotisserie All-Stars are, along with an adjaverb or two about each player.

American League

Joe Mauer #7 C --could hit .400
Justin Morneau #33 1B --Canadian clubber
Ian Kinsler #5 2B --the whole package
Derek Jeter #2 SS --just edges Bartlett
Evan Longoria #3 3B --a real beast
Carl Crawford #13 LF --great comeback year
Torii Hunter #48 CF --hasn't lost a step
Jacoby Ellsbury #46 CF --can't teach 35 SB
Zack Greinke #23 SP --finally reaches his potential
Joe Nathan #36 RP –stud

National League:

Pablo Sandoval #48 3B--if he qualifies for C I'll take him
Albert Pujols #5 1B --best roto player bar none
Chase Utley #26 2B –gamer
Hanley Ramirez #2 SS --can you imagine if he wasn't hurt and played on a better team
Mark Reynolds #27 3B --super surprise year
Raul Ibanez #29 LF --think he misses Seattle--not!
Ryan Braun #8 LF --the NL version of Longoria
Matt Kemp #27 CF --silently a stud
Dan Haren #15 SP --just edges out Lincecum
Jonathan Broxton #51 RP --been great with the exception of last outing
