The St. Louis Cardinals have acquired Matt Holliday in exchange for three minor league prospects. Brett Wallace, Clayton Mortenson and Shane Peterson.Brett Wallace is the crown jewel in this deal. The A's will also kick in $1.5 million to help offset the $6 million remaining on Holliday's contract.
