Garrett Atkins

I hope I’m not doing something taboo here, and I’ve been following his logic and he’s been right on the money with almost everything, but I disagree with Dr. Roto about Garrett Atkins. I think that Atkins will flourish as the clean-up hitter. Bat him between Helton and Hawpe and I think you have something. I know he’s off to a slow start, but I think the bell curve theory applies here and his stats will be there in the end. That means he’s got some “efuego” time in front of him and you should put him in now. Heck, I would trade for him (you can probably get him for a box of donuts.)

I know wagering is more my cup of tea. If I could wager on this fact, I would. – Robert Fairchild
