Never Mess with Dr. Roto

There are things that one should never do:

1) Get into a land war in Asia

2) Get into a fight with a Sicilian when death is on the line
and
3) Challenge Dr. Roto

From The Sports Xchange:

Garrett Atkins could be headed to the bench. With Todd Helton at first base, Ian Stewart at third, Troy Tulowitzki at shortstop and Clint Barmes at second, the Rockies have a very good defensive infield. Stewart represents a huge upgrade over the defensively challenged Atkins at third base. Atkins went 0-for-4 on Sunday and has 14 hits in his past 100 at-bats (.189). While he did homer Thursday at Houston for the first time in 114 at-bats since April 25 and did have his first multi-hit game since April 27 and did hit two homers in that game at Houston, the Rockies are a much better team at this point with Atkins on the bench.

BTW If I had to choose between taking Atkins and a box of doughnuts...I would make sure there were two Boston Cremes in the box (and maybe a Jelly too)

Mark Bloom (aka Dr. Roto) is the former owner of Roto-Rx, a fantasy website featured in a UPN newscast. He has been an active competitor and commissioner in fantasy leagues for close to 20 years winning numerous league titles.
