RANDOM MUSINGS - Adrian does it himself

So Adrian Gonzalez has 20 Hr’s to lead the majors. That means that he’s on pace to hit 64HR’s.

He’s got 40 RBI. That means that he’s on pace to drive in 129.

But wait a minute. Half of his RBI are himself? What’s going on here? Let’s look at who is batting in front of him.

1-Tony Gwynn Jr. (Adrian would better served if his father stepped back in the batter’s box for the Padres)
2- David Eckstein
3 - Scott Harriston

Not exactly Murderers’ Row.

So he’s now on pace to have 64 HR’s and 129 RBI while (driving himself in 64 times.)

This is starting to look like the one man show Steve Carlton put on in 1972 when he won 46% of the Phillies games. That year Carlton won 27 games in a year when the Phillies only won 59. - Josh Bolan
